The steamer took refuge in the port of Syracuse and

we have handed Bills of Lading to Nippon Yusen Kaisha, in order

that they may obtain delivery of the goode from the steamer and

arrange for their re-shipment Hong Kong.

As we understand that it is necessary to prove owner-

@hip of goods ex Enemy Steamers before delivery of same can be

obtained in a British port, we desire to submit documents to

you which will satisfy you that we are bona-fide owners of the

goods and, as such, entitled to have them delivered to our order

in the port of Hong Kong.
